Is it against the rules of Google Adsense to generate traffic into our website ?

Hi,

Stormhits – Automatic Traffic Generator, familiar with?
I’ve recently tried this service, and i really think is great because all i can say is that it really generates traffic into our website in a matter of minutes:), impressive actually this traffic is from other stormhits users, maybe this is nothing new for most of you but i saw today that it works, my question is, is it against the rules to generate traffic to your website to make money out of CPI’s ?

Well if it’s not then im really glad i joined i’ve just made 30 cents today without worrying myself too much
im talking about making money out of ad impressions not from ad clicks
thanks

It depends on how the traffic is generated, if it was generated by using traffic generator software(using proxy servers) like ‘CaCa’ then it’s illegal, but if real people click on the ads it’s legal

if you have a free host then you probably aren’t allowed to make money on your site. read their faq or contact them.

ya i came across this service when i was setting up my Church’s website, it’s perfectly legal to use it, google and other search engines will quazi partner with services like that to provide maximum expansion of viewing web pages.
